EASA and the National Aviation Authorities are working together on ways to allow pilots to keep their licences valid, despite not being able to fly enough hours. There is also work, already looking at practical and simple ways to help everyone get back in the air safely, once the situation has resolved itself.
In the meantime, Sunny is exercising social-distancing due to the Coronavirus outbreak, thankfully no need for self-isolation at this stage. She is splitting her time between reading plenty of flying books in her home office, to keep up her knowledge, and flying on the computer simulator, to maintain her basic flying skills. She is also trying to eat healthily and exercise, to help maintain her physical and mental well-being.
Best wishes to all pilots in these tough times, and hoping for clear skies in the very near future
