EASA is inviting PhD students from European universities and research entities to submit abstracts of their PhD thesis related to the following areas of interest that will be covered during the 2023 conference:

- Artificial intelligence (AI) in aviation.
- Impact of climate change and extreme weather phenomena on the air transport system.
- Environmental sustainability (emissions, noise, air quality, other nuisance,..).
- New approaches and methods for safety risk management.

VFS have categorised all known electric and hybrid-electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) concepts in the World eVTOL Aircraft Directory. First started in 2016, it now catalogues 650+ aircraft.

SGS Consulting have developed two indexes:
- The AAM Reality Index, tracking the likelihood of an OEM certifying their aircraft, entering service and producing it in thousand of units per year;

- The AAM Infrastructure Readiness Index, tracking the readiness of the infrastructure that will house the vehicles' operations.
