The Royal Aeronautical Society hosts its annual General Aviation conference in London on 19 November 2018.
The Light Aircraft Design Conference is hosted by the RAeS General Aviation Group. The conference programme this year is themed ‘On the Lighter Side’.
Over the last few decades there has been a remarkable resurgence of grassroots aviation driven by science and technology - notably materials and electronics, and the sheer fascination and joy of flight. It won’t stop here – and our aim is to give a taste of current developments and where we are all going. Wingsuits, flying bicycles, footlaunch, design and UAV proof of concept, ultralight aircraft, and beyond - come and be inspired!
