As 2025 comes to a close, we would like to say thank you to everyone who contributed to this community in the form of discussions, shared insights, or even following its content, and helped us to raise awareness about cybersecurity in aviation in Europe and beyond. 

This year was a particular busy one, where important milestones have been achieved. Some of them (but not all) are the following:

• Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/1645 became applicable on 16 October 2025 ✅

• Part-IS oversight approach guidelines published 📖

• Part-IS Implementation Workshop 2025 (25–26 June, Cologne) 🔨

• Part-IS workshops in Athens and Larnaca ⚙️

• Updated Part-IS GM published 📕

• Ground handling rules further expanding the Part-IS scope ⛽

• The 3rd iteration of the Easy Access Rules for Part-IS published 📖

• Mapping of EU cybersecurity rules on aviation endorsed by the NIS Cooperation group 📋

• EASA–IATA PNT Resilience Workshop (22–23 May, Cologne), tackling GNSS interference and operational resilience 🧭
