Part-IS Implementation Workshop 2025
The Part-IS Implementation Workshop 2025 took place last week, from June 25 to 26. Over 230 people joined onsite, and more than 900 viewers followed the workshop live on the EASA YouTube channel.
The workshop provided the participants with useful insights on the implementation journey already started by some organisations and updates on the latest activities to support Part-IS implementation undertaken by EASA and the Part-IS Task Force.
The event was also an opportunity for the EASA Cybersecurity team to bid farewell to Jean-Paul Moreaux, who was planned to deliver the opening presentation and introduce the workshop's central theme: the safety nature of Part-IS and the consequent need for each organisation to implement collaboration between the operational/production function and the IT/Information security one.
The novelty of this year were the “meet-the-expert” sessions, run both days between 16.00 and 17.30. Here the participants could book a slot to discuss with an EASA expert different aspects on Part-IS implementation
