Part-IS Workshop in Athens
On 18–19 September, EASA and the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority (HCAA) co-organised a Part-IS workshop at the premises of HCAA in Athens.
The event brought together 80 participants from more than 30 organisations across Greece, representing more than 70 approvals showing the strong appetite of the aviation community to be informed and exchange on Part-IS topics as we are approaching the applicability dates.
EASA Experts in Cybersecurity in Aviation, Angeliki Karakoliou and Vasileios Papageorgiou presented numerous Part-IS topics and with the invaluable support and coordination of the HCAA colleagues, Kostas Rotas, Dimitris Roussis and Ioannis Trakas provided insights on key elements of the requirements during the 2-day workshop.
The event was also honoured to have contributions from the National Cybersecurity Authority (NCSA) and the Athens International Airport and Fraport Greece, who all shared practical insights and experiences from the field.
