EUROCONTROL has published Version 2 of the European Action Plan for Airspace Infringement Risk Reduction, March 2022
Airspace infringement, also known as “unauthorised penetration of airspace”, is a major operational hazard that can result from the division of airspace into different classes and structures, with their associated procedures and services, and its joint use by different categories of users, often with competing objectives and different operational requirements and capabilities.
EASA has just issued an updated Ukraine CZIB to reflect opening of some Moldovan airspace. Find out more here:
NASA ASRS CALLBACK 506 of March 2022 - What Would You Have Done?
CALLBACK 506 offers the reader a chance to “interact” with the information given in a selection of ASRS reports. In “The First Half of the Story,” you will find report excerpts describing an event or situation that needs to be resolved. You may then exercise your own judgment to make a decision, determine a possible course of action, or devise a plan that might best resolve the situation. Ready?

Personal fatigue management - heard of the quiet ear technique?
EUROCONTROL has published a document, mainly meant for ATC staff but very much applicable also to airline crew, called Fatigue and Sleep Management.
