Hello from Finland
This might be a wrong community, but question anyway about new spa.hems opinion.
VFR weather minima at night. There is still cloud base limitation, but in some cases it might be ceiling.
Really difficult to understand the reasons for cloud base NOT ceiling, especially with NVG's.
How do you understand this new text and it's meaning in practise?

Hello!
I need some help…
I am looking for information about fatigue in ATCO.
I found the ICAO 9966 but I can not found any document with recommendations about the work limitations, resting hour… even just recommendations…
Thank you all!

Dear Emma, Chris and Dyonisios,
The article provides both the correct EN and FR links to:
G-40-02 Human factors guide to continuing airworthiness; and
G-45-04 Guide des Facteurs Humains dans le cadre du maintien de la navigabilité.
Dear Dionysios,
The link you have provided is incorrect, as it points to:
ÉVOLUTIONS RELATIVES AUX VOLS DE CONTRÔLE DE MAINTENANCE(MAINTENANCE CHECK FLIGHT – MCF).
Could you please remove it or delete your comment to avoid confusion?
Thanks and brgds,
Michel

Hi everyone - we recently posted this article about Medicanes in the Air Ops Community. These are extra-tropical and tropical–like cyclones (Medicanes) in the Mediterranean. If you are flying in this region check out the article at the link here below.
Really useful. Thank you very much

Thank you very much John for this article. Indeed, Medicanes should be a part of the crew weather briefing during the summer seasons. in the middle east and Asia, there is a special briefing to the pilots during the monsoon seasons. A special training is held by the airlines to qualify their pilots for the Monsoon period. Since the last 3 years I noticed the changes of the weather in the Mediterranean Sea and your article is more than welcome.

Hi again!
In case you missed it on the AWO Webinar, I thought this information could be interesting for other operators:
The major German operators have applied for an Article 71 exemption to the LBA requesting a "grace period" of 6 months to implement the new Air Ops regulations (Fuel scheme and AWO) that enter into force in end of October. This would effectively postpone the enter into force by 6 months.
This is something you can manage directly with your CAA. For more information, refer to the "Basic Regulation".
Dear Javier, thank you very much for the feedback! During the 2nd fuel rules webinar organised by EASA, the audience was informed on the exemption process and the recommended duration by EASA. It would be great indeed, if a colleague from Germany or Austria could share details.
