That would be a great option, at least for EU member states. Does anyone know if Eurocontrol has this information via the flight plans? that might be another option

Hello all!
Any other operator struggling with the new suitable aerodromes assessments (previous ops data, desktop and operational) ? [AMC1 SPA.LVO.110]
If I am not mistaken, in the current regulation, an operational assessment was only needed prior to commencing CAT III operations (AMC6 SPA.LVO.105). After 30 October, the assessment will be needed for any LVO (including CATII and EVS).
Is anyone willing to share their LVO data so that other operators can use the credits? (this was and is still allowed in the new regulation)
The impact in scheduled operations is probably very little (using previous ops data), but non-scheduled operations for bizjet operators will definitely suffer from it!

Hello all,
Can someone tell me where I can find the prerequisites to create/apply for an external examination center to allow austrocontrol exams?
Thank you
Hello Mr. Nowak,
in order to apply for a location as an examination center where Austro Control, as the competent authority, conducts theoretical proficiency examinations, please contact Mr. Raffael Stagl (raffael.stagel@austrocontrol.at). You will receive all necessary information from him to operate these examination centers outside of Austro Control headquarters.
Best regards

first : this is my first post here..please be patient with me and possibly drive me for the future. Let us go to my question: I need advice on maintenance altimeter check for a German registered aircraft under 2 tons private and certified IFR.
somebody told me that it must be done every two years ,other sources report that it is not needed being private and below 2 tons
thanks

Good morning everyone,
Which regulation allows/requires CAMO to perform unscheduled audits at contracted maintenance organizations?
Thanks and kind regards,
Dilek
Dear Dilek,
Hope this reference help you,
Appendix XI to AMC M.A.708(c) — Contracted maintenance
2.5. Quality monitoring
The terms of the contract should include a provision allowing the CAMO to perform a quality surveillance (including audits) of the maintenance organisation. The maintenance contract should specify how the results of the quality surveillance are taken into account by the maintenance organisation..

Hi, Guys.
Please, do you have any guidance related to the Airport WINGTIP Clearance for the A350?
I am not sure what you need exactly. The 777 variants in service all have narrower wingspans than the A350. Since you have to also get in and out of the stands, this could very well be. I would recommend to get in contact with the airport operator.

Hi again!
In case you missed it on the AWO Webinar, I thought this information could be interesting for other operators:
The major German operators have applied for an Article 71 exemption to the LBA requesting a "grace period" of 6 months to implement the new Air Ops regulations (Fuel scheme and AWO) that enter into force in end of October. This would effectively postpone the enter into force by 6 months.
This is something you can manage directly with your CAA. For more information, refer to the "Basic Regulation".

No, there is no requirement for a Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence (AML) in the case of release with an EASA Form 53 under the D1 rating. 21.A.145(d) which refers to 21.A.163 documents (which includes the EASA Form 53) states that certifying staff needs appropriate knowledge, background and experience. So it is up to the POA to determine the certifying staff qualifications and for the Authority to approve these by approving the POE.
