Today is VAI World Helicopter Day. Let's celebrate!
https://rotormedia.com/dont-forget-to-celebrate-world-helicopter-day-au…
(ROTOR magazine) - World Helicopter Day, Aug. 18, 2024, presents an opportunity to boost the public’s awareness of the wonderful contributions rotorcraft make to society.
VAI has created a tool kit to help members celebrate the day and promote their businesses.
This great initiative could be ported to Europe in September (to be confirmed).

For info; EASA to note

The discussion about severe icing indicates that operators should not be expected to deduce definitions - open to a wide range of interpretations.
Furthermore, operators are not required to reference some of the relevant documents, e.g. CS 25

Have been using UL91 in an IO360 very happily for the last few years (5+). No issues, less plug fouling. Kids at the local infants school are getting better IQ scores....
Also agree with Tom Vekemans above

Dear Uchenna Felix Nwachukwu,
VAI's ORRA programme offers an organised, evolving and flexible approach to managing risks and improving flight operations processes.
It is not designed to learn the difference between being an helicopter pilot and an airplane pilot but accounts for the specificities of helicopter operations.
Have I satisfactorily answered your question?
Best regards,
Michel

A Sustainable Aviation Milestone
The stunning ATR 72-600 of Braathens Regional Airlines is on display at the Farnborough International Airshow 2024 – a fantastic opportunity to take a trip down memory lane and reflect upon the remarkable milestones achieved with this aircraft type and BRA throughout our journey towards 100% SAF.
What do you think about the ATR jet type
