EASA Video Teaser Carriage and Use of Personal Electronic Devices (PEDs) and portable Electronic Flight Bags (EFBs) in the Cockpit, October 2024

This year, EASA has invited Mathieu Vandenavenne, Safety for Flight, to make a safety promotion video on Carriage and Use of Personal Electronic Devices (PEDs) and portable Electronic Flight Bags (EFBs) in the Cockpit.

The video will be launched in the Rotorcraft Safety Zone at EUROPEAN ROTOR in RAI Amsterdam.

Following the sudden and severe flooding event in July 2021 in Western Germany (NRW) and Eastern Belgium (Povince of Liège), with Storm Boris, Europe experiences its worst flooding in decades. Most scientists believe that such extreme episodes could be due to climate change.

Congratulations to the helicoper hoist rescue team shown in these two videos and to all rescuers engaged in evacuation operations.

Condolences to the families and friends of those who have lost their lives, and support to those whose homes were destroyed by flooding.
