Looking back at 2023 & warm wishes for a Happy 2024!
The end of the year is almost here and as everyone is slowly (or maybe not that slowly) getting in the holiday mood, this gives us a good opportunity to reflect on the (soon-to-be) previous year regarding our community as well as for Cybersecurity in Aviation as a whole.
The Cybersecurity Community managed to almost double its members within one year, reaching nearly 4000 members at the time of writing of this post. More than 30 articles (topics in the “language” of our community) have been published in a variety of different areas related to Cybersecurity in Aviation, covering among other things, the publishing of important regulations and guidelines in the domain, useful information for our stakeholders and relevant news and events that took place in 2023.
Indeed it was a year marked by noteworthy events in this field, including, but not limited to, the publication of the NIS2 and CER Directives just by the closure of the previous year, the publication of the Implementing Regulation of Part-IS, the corresponding AMC/GM, and the Easy Access Rules.
In 2024, our wish is that our community will continue to grow into an interactive platform that allows for the exchange of information, opinions and ideas amongst experts and enthusiast in the field.
Till then, we would like to thank you for being an integral part of this community and to wish you Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your loved ones!
