Part-IS Implementation Workshop 2026

More than 200 participants joined us at EASA’s premises (and more than 750 joined online) on 7–8 October for the Part-IS Implementation Workshop 2026 – the third one organised at EASA.

During these two days, representatives of organisations and competent authorities shared practical experiences, challenges and proposed solutions through the sessions and lively exchanges during the networking breaks.

Discussions covered proportionate implementation of the regulation, oversight approaches across Member States, competencies, risk assessment, incident and vulnerability management, reporting, the evolving threat landscape and AI. A clear message emerged: organisations and authorities are progressing towards the operational phase of Part-IS and building maturity together.
 

The workshop was well-received, with participants giving very positive feedback on both the content and organisation. EASA Executive Director Florian Guillermet closed the event, thanking everyone who contributed and encouraging continued cooperation as Part-IS becomes part of day-to-day aviation practice.
