I have a question regarding LPC. On the Skill test/Proficiency check described in Appendix 9 to Part-FCL. some of the mandatory items to be checked on an LPC say "FFS only" or "do not carry out on an aircraft". So, does that mean that we cannot do an LPC on the aircraft? as we need to complete all the mandatory items? or does that mean that we can carry out the LPC on aircraft while not doing the (M) items which say (M) FFS ONLY?

I am talking about an aircraft like the ATR 72.

That is exactly right Zaid. It wouldn’t be legally possible under current legislation to do an LPC on this type of MPA aircraft. For quite obvious safety reasons. But also because the environment of a real aircraft, where actual failures and emergencies cannot be realistically replicated as they would in a full flight simulator, renders an aircraft unsuitable for LSTs or LPCs.
Even authorities who used to be lenient towards this, are now adopting more stringent standpoints.
