Hello! I have question about en-route alternates.
In EASA regulation - almost all flights require Destination Alternates but Take-off and En-route alternates are only required in specific circumstances. The departure aerodrome may also be an en-route or destination alternate for the same flight.
But I can`t see why arrival airdrome can not be as en-route alternates?
have any EASA regulation?

The OEI circles of en-route alternate airports should touch Departure and destination airports circles that this situation make them part of en-route alternates as well. under this point of view Departure/Destination airports can be called as en-route alternates. I hope can be answer of your question.Brgds
