First my best wishes for prosperous and safe 2022. to

all members here.

Have browsed a bit on https://www.easa.europa.eu/easa-covid-19-resources

No luck to find any topic on following subject:

https://www.europarl.europa.eu/doceo/document/B-9-2021-0475_EN.html

Just wondering if any survey is available or planed on this subject

within aviation professional population ?

Any known public source within EU similar to Lieutenant Colonel Theresa Long* Participating on Senator Ron Johnson's Panel Discussion on Mandatory Covid-19 Vaccines Held in Washington D.C. On November 2, 2021. ?

Thanks Djani for flagging this fair EP initiative.
It's all about Risk Management, I suggest, a matter dear to pilots and SMS practitioners.
The converse question to consider is: how many more fatalities would have occur without vaccination?
Food for thoughts.
HNY to all!

Dear Michel,
agree on your stand too.

But my impression is that flight crew must have the fair approach
to risk and benefit balance, including some sort of "insurance".
For example program similar to EU air passenger rights tailored
to EU aviation professionals?

We all are trying to make educated decisions based on reliable sources.
Within my above post I am looking for reliable sources and hope that
EASA can continue to be the one, especially for aviation professionals.
EASA done a lot in regard of Covid information subject,
please just keep that way.

Thanks for this suggestion, Djani.
Consider contacting the colleagues in charge.
PS: I understand what you mean as I personally experienced side effects, too. Fortunately, it is possible to request medical leave when effects do or can substantially affect performance.

Thank you Michel,
for your kind suggestion.
Hope you are well now?
My perspective goes from father of young aviation freelance professional.
Quite amount of efforts and funds already invested in A & H training and flight hours.
Like safety belt in case of trouble with medical along that way, a significant efforts made also on Part 66 B1 exams/license way.
But "what if" question is present, either like long term effect of primary infection or like side effect of vaccination.

Interesting thoughts, Djani.
As far as I know, side effects are usually due to the immune reaction and naturally disappear. Took a few days for the COVID booster in my case but others don't experience side effects at all.
Conversely, I didn't experience any side effect with the flu vaccine whereas others do. It's actually variable.
I am not a Medical Doctor though, therefore consider checking reference sources or contacting medical experts.

Sure Michel,
me either not MD :) but trying to be educated on the subject.
(as much as possible)
Flu vaccines must be more mature technology... with much less level of side effects.
Recently have seen one source which again put more questions than
answers, and references looks OK...
https://www.researchgate.net/publication/357994624_Innate_Immune_Suppre…
Who knows....
Any way, my opinion is that EASA must take some
steps soon, toward the research on the subject.
