EAR for Part-IS updated

EASA published updated EAR for Part-IS

EASA has published Revision from June 2024 of the Easy Access Rules for Information Security (Regulations (EU) 2023/203 and 2022/1645).

The amendments relate to:

• The regulation laying down technical requirements and administrative procedures for the approval of organisations involved in the design or production of air traffic management/air navigation services systems and constituents. Approved organisations involved in the design or production of ATM/ANS systems and ATM/ANS constituents (DPOs) have to comply to Part-IS.  
• The regulation applying to the Competent Authorities overseeing the continuing airworthiness of certified unmanned aircraft systems. The competent authorities designated have to comply to Part-IS and to tailored cybersecurity requirements.  
• Editorial changes that aim at introducing hyperlinks to regulations amended with Part-IS
