This Revision from August 2025 of the Easy Access Rules for Standardised European Rules of the Air (EAR for SERA) incorporates the following:
- the removal of the special formatting from the rules applicable from 1 May 2025 as well as the deletion of their outdated counterparts that were applicable until 30 April 2025; and
- ED Decision 2025/012/R issuing new and amending existing acceptable means of compliance and guidance material (AMC & GM) to enable innovative air mobility with manned aircraft that have a capability for vertical take-off and landing (VTOL).
The EAR for SERA are available for free download from the EASA website as a pdf in an easy-to-read format with advanced navigation features through links and bookmarks, and in an xml format with machine-readable content.
As the publication is generated through the eRules platform, it will be regularly updated to incorporate further changes and evolutions to the implementing rules (IRs), and the related AMC and GM.
