General Aviation Structures Workshop

The workshop is a forum to discuss General Aviation (CS-23, CS-VLA, CS-LSA) Structures topics between the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), National Competent Authorities (NCAs), and applicants for type certificates (TCs) and supplemental type certificates (STCs).

Structural requirements along with the related acceptable means of compliance, as well as EASA policies (Certification Memorandum), related to Materials (metallic, composites, wood, additive manufacturing), Statics, Fatigue and Damage Tolerance, Aeroelasticity (Flutter), Loads and Crashworthiness will be presented. An overview of ASTM and the structures related consensus standards will also be reflected on the agenda.
