Takeaways of the Part-IS Implementation Workshop 2024
I would like to share my takeaways from the two days of very fruitful discussions and presentations at the Workshop last week.
- Cybersecurity in Aviation is a multidisciplinary topic: collaboration between different functions in each organisation is key for a successful implementation of Part-IS.
- We don’t need perfection at this stage. We need something that works. Implementation should be gradual but steadfast. We need to have a trial and error mindset: following an agile approach might be useful.
- Implementing Part-IS is not an easy journey, but we are not alone in this journey. There is a lot of guidance and experience already available to be shared and more will come.
- Start slow, start small, but start your implementation journey!
