Are you prepared fur the bird-strike season?

As spring is in the air and summer approaches, bird‑strike risk to rotorcraft operations reaches its first part of the year's peak.

To support the community during this high‑risk period, EASA and ESPN‑R are raising awareness through a single article released in April 2025, summarising five key resources on mitigating bird‑strike risk – including wearing a helmet, even when not mandated for a given type of operation.
