Description
Meeting Room 04.049
- Starting 09h00
- Ending 17h00
The fruitful cooperation established with Member States has allowed us to publish three editions of the European Aviation Safety Plan, our roadmap for safety improvement in Europe. Through the application of safety management principles and risk assessment processes European aviation safety performance can be improved.
Following the two EASp summits organised last year which showed the benefits and importance of coordinating the activities to manage safety at European level with the ones being carried out at Member State level, it has been decided to organise a Third EASp implementation and review summit.
The summit will take place in Cologne on Tuesday 18th June 2013 and will be followed by a meeting of the Network of Analysts (NoA) working group on Safety Performance Indicators (SPIs) the day after. During this one day activity we will learn from the experience of States and will organise a question and answer session focused on the new competencies that are needed to implement safety management. This event is targeted at Member States
