Hello all,
Concerning table 4 of AMC9 CAT.OP.MPA.182
In row 4 it is mentionned an approach based on a separate navigation aid. Is it correct that an RNP approach is also considered as an approach based on a navigation aid?
Thank you
Affirmative. The RNP APCH must be based on the GNSS. The GNSS is considered a space-based navigation aid. Refer to ICAO Doc 8168 Definitions, Instrument approach operations.

Thank you for the confirmation. This is indeed the same definition as in GM33 of the EASA Air Ops manual.
