I received an email just now. There is no link in it and I am unable to find the right part of the EASA website about the GA IR. Can somebody send me a link? And PLEASE EASA, include a link in such emails! Thanks.
Dear CRT user,
Please note that the final deliverable 'Easier access for general aviation pilots to instrument flight rules flying', as well as the related CRD to NPA 2016-14 , have been published on the EASA website.
Thank you for your interest in and contribution to the European Aviation Safety Agency's rulemaking activities.
Kind regards,
The EASA consultation team
Hello Steven, here you have the link : https://www.easa.europa.eu/newsroom-and-events/news/easier-access-gener…
To get it (because I receive the same email than yours), I copy/paste that "Easier access for general aviation pilots to instrument flight rules flying" in Google.
Cheers,
Antoine
Hi Antoine, I also googled it and found the same note you did - but this is from 2016, not the final deliverable mentioned.
OK think I found it ... https://www.easa.europa.eu/sites/default/files/dfu/Opinion%20No%2001-20…
It's a good document, hopefully the Basic Instrument Rating can be rolled out fairly soon now.
