"Anybody’s CAE" (A-CAE)

Swiss FOCA and SAMA had decided on 03.12.2020 to publish the Anybody’s Combined Airworthiness Exposition (A-CAE) example document for general use – it is available on www.svfb.ch under "Regulations" and "FOCA" in Word-Doc Format.

For FOCA Mr. M. Caboussat has coordinated all internal and external inputs and changed the initial draft issued by SAMA, which was based on former published FOCA “Anybody’s CAME”.

So “have fun” to transit from M/F, 145 and M/G into the CAO, ML, M and CAMO World.

Dear Marcel,

This so-called A-CAE is a very valuable contribution from FOCA and SAMA which is made available by SVFB. I am impressed by this 124-page manual to which internal CAO documents will be attached.

I might come back to you for discussing on specific topics.

Bon soir Michel,

The transition is relatively simple by using the existing MOM (or MOE) and CAME.

If you do need any further help do not hesitate to contact me.

We have also an extra XLS to support the move, which was created from the very helpful EASA Guide (Revision January 2020), but in one table.

Special care must be given to the new privileges of Part-CAO and -ML and also to Part D of the CAE. There we got a lot of very valuable support from our Competent Authority!!
