Thanks for posting this, Jean Pierre. It's now 100 days since my last flight, I got my medical renewed two days ago. Arranged a check-ride on Wednesday. I live near Pau, LFBP is now allowing is to do circuits there; last week they didn't allow that.

Sorry to say that but you're wrong. Flight was never forbidden in France. Displacement was restricted and using a plane for recreational flight was not allowed.
So as the Ministry of Transport never forbid flight, flight do not have to be "allowed". However, if you are not able to fulfill criteria of distance you need to have some mitigation means (mask for instance).
Lot of people do flight since 11th of May (within the 100 km from their home).

Objectively speaking, since May 11th, nothing prevents instructional flights from taking place in France. As Antoine points out, no private flying was ever specifically forbidden in France, unlike some countries where NOTAMs were published to that effect.

May be you'll find that's strange, but if there is no difficulty to fly solo, restrictions, are from Inner minister that in line with medical recommendations requires everybody in any place in France including in aircraft to observe a minimum distance of 1 meter between humans. If not, you'll be fined €132 on the first time and possibly be jailed afterwards. ANPI wrote a letter to the head of DGAC asking him to confirm or to allow instructional flights with masks. No reply yet.
In addition to that do not forget that medical recommendations are to wear a mask whose filtering capability is barely 95% plus distance criteria. Valid protection require both. Not only one.
Contamination risk real and a real constraint to observe. Some people take the risk of both Covid19 and fine, another instructor already recovered from Covid 19 he's probably immune...not totally sure.
