Regulation 2018/1119 for Declared Training Organisations (DTO) is now approved!

As promised in the GA Roadmap, the new Part-DTO (Declared Training Organisations) grants significant alleviations for the GA training domain. Training providers for Light Aircraft Pilot Licence (LAPL) and Private Pilot Licence (PPL) will no longer need to seek prior approval of their training organisation, they will have to make a declaration to the competent authority instead.

Great news! Do you know approximately when the AMC/GM to Part-DTO will be released?
Dear Torkell, the AMC/GM is under final revision and will be published very soon, I'll keep you informed.
Worth mentioning that Part-DTO is applicable also for LAPL and PPL Helicopters, including single-engine type ratings with a seating capacity up to 5 seats.
This will make our helicopter colleagues' live easier too!
Best, Michel
