ReFuelEU Aviation Digital Reporting Tool

EASA is currently working on a digital tool for aircraft operators covered by ReFuelEU Aviation regulation, for the fulfilment of their reporting obligations defined under Article 8 of this regulation – the ReFuelEU Aviation – Digital Reporting Tool. Once the tool is operational, information on how to access it will be available on this page. In the download section below, you can find the ReFuelEU Aviation Template for Aircraft Operators and in the future we will also publish Monitoring and Reporting Guidance for Aircraft Operators.

The voluntary Labelling Scheme data reporting for aircraft operators will also be possible through the future ReFuelEU Aviation – Digital Reporting Tool.

You can register on the EASA website and follow this page on the top-right to receive emails when we update it.

Background

On October 31, 2023, the Regulation 2023/2405 on ensuring a level playing field for sustainable air transport, commonly known as ReFuelEU Aviation Regulation, was published in the Official Journal of the European Union. The regulation is part of a legislative package aimed at reducing net greenhouse gas emissions by at least 55 % by 2030, compared to 1990 levels – the 'fit for 55' package. The regulation applies from 1 January 2024 and the first reporting obligation (Article 8) for aircraft operators under the scope of ReFuelEU Aviation is expected in 2025.
