OBJECTIVES
The European Plan for Aviation Safety (EPAS) foresees regular updates of the delegated and implementing Regulations adopted on the basis of Regulation (EU) 2018/1139.
In this context, the objective of this task is to propose an update of Regulation (EU) No 1321/2014 (the continuing airworthiness Regulation) and the associated Acceptable Means of Compliance (AMC) and Guidance Material (GM) in order to ensure the safety, efficiency, and proportionality of the regulatory framework for continuing airworthiness activities.
To this end, this rulemaking task is planned to address miscellaneous non-controversial topics and identified issues to ensure that this Regulation, AMC, and GM remain fit for purpose, cost-effective and can be implemented by the affected stakeholders.
