ATCO.AR.F.001 Aero-medical centres and aero-medical certification

By way of derogation from Subparts A, B and C, with regard to aero-medical centres (AeMCs) and aero-medical certification, the competent authority shall apply the following provisions of Annex VI to Commission Regulation (EU) No 1178/2011 (the Aircrew Regulation)²⁰ Commission Regulation (EU) No 1178/2011 of 3 November 2011 laying down technical requirements and administrative procedures related to civil aviation aircrew pursuant to Regulation (EC) No 216/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council (OJ L 311, 25.11.2011, p. 1)., with the exclusion of all references to general medical practitioners (GMPs):

—             Subpart ARA.GEN,

—             Subpart ARA.AeMC,

—             ARA.MED.120 Medical assessors,

—             ARA.MED.125 Referral to the licensing authority,

—             ARA.MED.150 Record keeping,

—             ARA.MED.200 Procedure for the issue, revalidation, renewal or change of an AME certificate,

—             ARA.MED.245 Continuing oversight,

—             ARA.MED.250 Limitation, suspension or revocation of an AME certificate,

—             ARA.MED.255 Enforcement measures,

—             ARA.MED.315 Review of examination reports, and

—             ARA.MED.325 Review procedure.
