EASA is the home of aviation safety in Europe. It certifies aircraft for commercial and recreational use, regulates noise and emissions, oversees ATM/ANS activities and Urban Air Mobility, including drones and eVTOLs. The Agency sets safety standards for private aircraft, airfields, and helipads, supporting emergency operations and ensuring safe passenger travel. This allows interconnectivity while minimising aviation’s impact on cities and residential areas.
