Resources & Support Director - Iva Solcova

IvaIva Šolcová was appointed Director of Resources and Support in January 2020. She is responsible for Human Resources, IT, Relationships & Corporate services and Finance management.

Prior to joining EASA, Iva Šolcová was Head of Administration at the European Union (EU) agency EIGE in Vilnius. 

Iva Šolcová benefits from more than 25 years of work experience in the fields of international cooperation, negotiation and EU Funds management. She occupied management positions in the EU environment in EIGE (2017-2019) and EASO (2011-2012), but also in the Czech national administration (2003-2011 and 2013-2017).  As Director of Managing Authorities for European Structural and Investment Funds for the Czech Ministry of Transport and Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, she dealt with strategic planning, negotiation and management of EU financed programmes amounting to 15 billion EURO. From 1994 to 2001, Iva Šolcová worked in the Programme Coordination Unit assisting the European Commission in the management and coordination of transport projects across 13 Central and Eastern European countries. She has broad experience in design of organisational and control structures, in human resources and in finance management both at European and national levels. 

Iva Šolcová graduated from Charles University in Prague in 1986 (Master in Information Sciences and Librarianship) and obtained in 1987 a PhDr. in Information Science.

Iva Šolcová is married and has one child. In her spare time, she enjoys going to concerts and walking.
