Since January 2015, Olivier Ramsayer is Resources and Support Director, appointed by the EASA Management Board. In this role, Olivier Ramsayer is in charge of simplifying, raising the efficiency and flexibility of EASA support services.
Olivier Ramsayer is committed since 25 years to make the Union dream of 28 Member States a concrete reality and deliver value to Europe's citizens. He has been contributing as member of different EU agencies' Management Teams to the effectiveness of EU operations and the efficient use of EU resources.
Olivier Ramsayer commenced his carrier as responsible for the management of ERASMUS grants to EU Universities. He then moved to manage financial assistance to Central and Eastern Europe after the fall of the Berlin Wall. He has held management positions in operations and administration in different EU Agencies and was last Director of Resources and Support at the European Food Safety Authority.
Olivier Ramsayer has lead organisational changes and accompanied maturity growth through initial build-up and further consolidation phases. His focus has been to deliver value to citizens and stakeholders in the areas of Human Capital Management, Business focused IT deployment and legal services.
Olivier Ramsayer was born in a region at the cross road between four European countries. He is a French national and graduated in engineering through an integrated academic curricula in France, the United Kingdom and Germany.
