The first Commission Regulations on Air Traffic Management and Air Navigation Services (ATM/ANS) based on the EASA’s opinions enter into force today. Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 1034/2011 on safety oversight in ATM/ANS and Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 1035/2011 laying down common requirements for the provision of air navigation services were published in the Official Journal of the European Union on 18 October 2011.
