Aircrew Medical Fitness Workshop

EASA will gather on 7/8 December in Cologne leading European and world-wide experts to debate the main challenges of implementing the 6 recommendations made in July on the accident of Germanwings Flight 9525.

To lead the discussion, EASA put together an Action Plan which combines the use of existing regulatory materials with innovative solutions, in order to timely implement the recommendations. Concrete actions will be launched in the areas of air operations, aircrew, Information Technology (IT) and data protection. Based on the results of the workshop, concept papers about the proposed actions will be drafted and undergo focused consultations among all affected stakeholders.
