Description and aim of the workshop
With the foreseen modernisation of the European ATM system that seeks to improve both safety and efficiency, it is necessary to attest that systems are suitable for use through mutually recognised certificates or declarations. These attestation processes need to be compatible with best engineering practices, ensure interoperability and easy market access, while safeguarding safety.
In anticipation of the initiation of the task preparing the regulations that support the future framework for the interoperability of ATM/ANS systems and constituents, EASA wishes to solicit stakeholders’ opinions as to the rationale, main objectives and expectations that this task needs to address.
The workshop represents an excellent opportunity for stakeholders to discuss and outline the way forward, thus assisting EASA in finalising the preparatory activities.
Target audience
The workshop is addressed to members of the EASA Advisory Bodies, authorities of the Member States, representatives of the industry and of interest groups involved in the implementation of ground ATM/ANS systems and constituents.

Participation in the workshop requires advance registration, which will remain open until 10 October at the latest.
