International standards and rules
EASA and other regulators around the world have set up international standards and rules for maintenance organisations to follow. These international standards include requirements for:
- adequacy of facilities,
- training of maintenance staff,
- availability of tools and equipment and
- use of maintenance instructions.
Maintenance Organisations are regularly inspected to check that they work according to these standards.
