Revision from July 2024 of Easy Access Rules for Continuing Airworthiness includes:
- amending Regulation (EU) 2022/1360 and ED Decision 2023/013/R, as regards the implementation of more proportionate requirements for aircraft used for sport and recreational aviation.
- amending Regulation (EU) 2023/203 and ED Decision 2023/010/R, as regards requirements for the management of information security risks with a potential impact on aviation safety for organisations. Both are applicable from 22 February 2026.
- amending Regulation (EU) 2023/989, ED Decision 2023/019/R, and Corrigendum to ED Decision 2023/019/R, as regards the review of Part-66 and the introduction of new training methods and new teaching technologies.
The EAR for Continuing Airworthiness are available:
- in pdf format;
- as a dynamic online publication with filters for obtaining the regulatory material tailored to one’s needs, search functions for quickly accessing the relevant sections, and easy navigation for computers, tablets, and mobiles; and
- in xml (machine-readable format) that can be easily processed by and synchronised with local applications, search databases, etc.
The document will be updated regularly to incorporate further changes and evolutions to the implementing regulations, delegated regulations, AMC, and GM.
