The Yak-Service Rotenburg / Wuemme Company informed the Polish CAA on February 8th, 2019 that Certificates of Conformity and Authorized Release Certificates (EASA Form 1) issued on behalf of Yak-Service Rotenburg / Wuemme were issued without the knowledge of the company's owner.

CAA advises that all Certificates of Conformity (CofC) and Authorized Release Certificates (EASA Form 1) for manufactured or serviced components issued on behalf of Yak-Service Rotenburg / Wuemme have been unlawfully issued and therefore have never been valid.

The Yak-Service Rotenburg / Wuemme Company neither holds an approval issued in accordance with 21.B.130 for production without the production organization's approval, nor a production organization's approval issued in accordance with 21.B.230. It also does not hold any approval of a maintenance organization issued in accordance with 145.B.25 or M.B.603.

This Safety Significant Information recommends that organizations, owners and aircraft operators (especially Antonov An-2, PZL M18 Dromader, PZL-106 Kruk, Antonov An-28) verify components for which Yak-Service Rotenburg / Wueme has issued CofC and Form 1.
