As João alludes to, it is the CAMO approval directly linked to the AOC approval (see any AOC certificate and Ops Specs for reference to CAMO approval number) that controls and arranges maintenance contracts, not the AOC operator directly. This is why the AOC will have a nominated person for continuing airworthiness, to oversee such work.

Dear Sir/Madam
I need your support undermentioned questions regarding maintenance agreement issues for commercial operator.
Does ORO.GEN.205 section cover maintenance agreement requirement for commercial operators? When i checked GM1 ORO.GEN.205 section. I didn't see maintenance activities mentioned areas in the regulation.
What kind of regulations are required maintenance agreements for commercial operator's scheduled flights?
Best Regards,

Although such items may be extendable time wise, with clear and documented justifications as referenced by Suhail above, I would question the safety culture of any individual/organisation who is considering ignoring manufacturer statements on when a part/component should be replaced.

When GPS integrity event is detected .GNSS revert to DME-DME or VOR-DME even VOR- VOR.
Navaids in Europe are enough to cover DME-DME or VOR- DME(-100NM) ...which comply to RNAV 5 specification.
One way to detect spoofing, if you are equipped with 2 FMS/GNSS ,is to put one FMS in GPS mode and the other one in NAV(aids) mode.

Floods in Central Europe: Woman rescued by a helicopter,
Sky News, Sep. 16, 2024

See also for instance this other TV programme by Al Jazeera English: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vokibM3l2tM
Following the sudden and severe flooding event in July 2021 in Western Germany (NRW) and Eastern Belgium (Povince of Liège), with Storm Boris, Europe experiences its worst flooding in decades. Most scientists believe that such extreme episodes could be due to climate change.
Congratulations to the helicoper hoist rescue team shown in these two videos and to all rescuers engaged in evacuation operations.
Condolences to the families and friends of those who have lost their lives, and support to those whose homes were destroyed by flooding.

Dear Uchenna Felix,
I can't help, except by emphasizing that you or this client of yours have to follow the FAA ATPL application procedure.
Brgds,

EASA regulations or guidance on Depressurisation in High Terrain.
Does there exist rules or guidance on planning for x points in OFP, escape routes, and terrain alternates?
Martin
Your OM Part A sec 8 or maybe OM Part C will have guidance on this. Here is a useful article from the FSF https://flightsafety.org/asw/dec07/asw_dec07_p30-35.pdf
Best wishes

Hello EASA Community,
I'm planning to expand my involvement in rotorcraft events across Europe and would love to get some insights from this knowledgeable community. I will be attending the European Rotors event in Amsterdam this November, and I'm really looking forward to it!
However, I would appreciate any recommendations for other fairs, conferences, or tradeshows that are worth attending within Europe. What have been your favorite events, and why? Whether it's for networking, learning about the latest technologies, or finding valuable workshops, I'd love to hear your experiences and suggestions.
Looking forward to your recommendations!
Hi Michel,
Thank you kindly for your prompt response. I will look into your suggestions and reach out if I have further questions.
Please feel free to connect with me on LinkedIn to further discuss.
Kind regards

Thanks, Thierry, good addition.
The effect of heat on human performance was also mentioned in the comment above by Jean-Marc van Dam.
Thanks, both!

It may be helpful to clarify that the Mandate being discussed is the so-called PBN-IR and it currently applies only to ILS CAT I operations, which are supposed to only be available for contingency operations after the cutoff date in the EU; PBN approach operations (LPV, LNAV/VNAV or LNAV) being offered by default. The mandate explicitly excludes ILS CAT II/III or GBAS operations and the related installations A number of questions need discussion, not only the target timeline as regards airborne capability, but also how the EU definition of contingency is related to ICAO provisions and all the aspects of GNSS interference risk.

SKYbrary article The importance of effective risk management at all hospital helicopter landing sites, Sept. 2, 2024
https://skybrary.aero/accidents-and-incidents/s92-plymouth-uk-2022?utm_…
"On 4 March 2022, a helicopter touching down on the designated landing site at a Plymouth hospital to deliver a recovered casualty subjected several people in an adjacent car park to significant downwash. Two were blown over sustaining serious injuries with one dying later the same day. Hospital management was found to have failed to effectively assess the risks of landing site operation and its communications with the operator to ensure safe site use. The landing site was not being operated in accordance with guidance applicable to more recently opened sites nor was it required to be."
Picture: "The HLS showing the direction of the helicopter’s approach and the locations of the two people seriously injured after their stability was compromised by the downwash. [Reproduced from the Official Report]"
Risk management on H hospital sites?! Afraid that is important only in normal EASA lands, not in Croatia 9A under the CCAA.hr .Please take look on Split Firule H (reconstruction), Karlovac H (new), Slavonski Brod H (new), Zagreb Dubrava H (reconstruction), hospital sites. In case you find any positive relation to ICAO Annex 14 vol II, please let us know ;)
