Certification - Design approvals - Supplemental Type Certificates

Major changes to type-certificates by non type-certificate holders must be approved in accordance with  Part 21, Section A, Subpart E.

Applications for new supplemental type certificates must be sent to:

  • In case of a validation of a foreign Supplemental Type Certificate, please attach a copy of this document or a copy of the application sent to the aviation authority of the State of Design.
     
  • Please do not attach comprehensive data packages at this stage. You will receive further notice about when and where such documents should be sent.
Supplemental type certificates - Lists

The following lists compile EASA Supplemental Type Certificates issued since 03/06/2004 by EASA.
'Grandfathered' STCs for which the agency assumed responsibility on 29/09/2003 and issued prior to that date are not included at this time.
Please note that the list is not yet comprehensive and will be frequently updated.
