Detailed description

Investigation of the technical feasibility and safety benefit of a light aeroplane operational Flight Data Monitoring (FDM) system
Reference: EASA.2007/2
Description: The object is to carry out a feasibility study, an initial prototype design and a flight trial of an integrated FDM system for single engine light aeroplanes that in addition provides a flight data storage and retrieval capability. It will assist accident investigation and also permit the pilot / maintenance personnel to access flight information and be notified of operational exceedances.

Safety Aspects of Light Aircraft Spin Resistance Concept
Reference: EASA/2008/3
Description: The primary objective of the project is to investigate safety criteria and relevant test methods which will form the fundamental basis for proposing a change to CS-23 Certification Specification. To demonstrate that the proposed criteria are satisfactory flight trials with an existing spin resistant aircraft or modified aircraft will be carried out.
