Through this project, EASA works with the Zambian authorities to monitor the implementation of the EU-funded ‘Aviation Sector Support Programme’, aiming at improving Zambia’s compliance capability with international aviation standards. This monitoring is achieved through:
- Visits to assess the progress made in project implementation, as well as the Safety Roadmap established by EASA and the DCA (Department of Civil Aviation) in 2009;
- Evaluating works, reports and studies;
- Providing technical advice and recommendations.
